A Family Business Since 1914

The vision of Fasy Real Estate began in Philadelphia in May, 1914, when Harry J. Fasy first opened its doors at 18th Street & Thompson Avenue.  After a period of time, Harry relocated to 1712 Gerard Avenue, a magnificent, three story, white marble row home, built by Thomas Reilly, who specialized in building churches.

In 1930, Harry’s brother, Joseph F.X. Fasy, joined the business.  Once Joseph passed away, his sons – Jack and Bob – managed the office on Girard Avenue.  Eventually, Jack relocated to the corner of 3rd Street & Godfrey Avenue in the Onley section of Philadelphia and Bob to Media, Pennsylvania.

In 1978, Jack’s son, Joe, joined him in Philadelphia.  Jack’s focus was on insurance and Joe targeted the sales market. Jack semi-retired in 1988 and Joe eventually become the broker/owner.  After Jack fully retired, Joe sold the building in Onley and moved the business to Rising Sun Avenue in the Burholme/Fox Chase section of the city.  In 2013, two of Joe’s children – Joseph, Jr. and Dana – obtained their real estate licenses and decided to join the company.

Over 100 years later, Harry’s vision continues!  The company name flourishes under the guidance of Bob (who now operates his business in Ocean City, New Jersey) and Joe, in Philadelphia.
